Here you will find Strandgård deer park, Sibiria and Vemmetofte set with forest to one side and water on the other. Faxe Ladeplads originated in 1862-1864. when the manor Bregentved, together with Vemmetofte Convent designed the city harbour to disembark limestone from Faxe Limestone Quarry.

The Faxe Limestone Quarry lies east of Faxe. Those who go down into the quarry, find themselves on a 63 million year old seabed, where sharks, crocodiles and squids swam among lovely corals.
